The Changing Facade of Traill: Holly Norris

During the summer months Traill began its shaky transformation from a lively undergraduate college - filled with residential space, classrooms, faculty offices and a long history as one of Trent's founding colleges - to a new graduate facility.

At the time of publication renovations were still underway, the Lecture Hall razed and the interior of Scott House drastically transformed.

With the quiet demise of Trent's last downtown residential college the link between the city many of us now call home and the university has become increasingly tenuous as the two communities become evermore alienated from one another.

This gallery includes an expanded version of the Traill photo essay that ran in Volume 43, Issue 1 of Arthur, Trent's student and community newspaper.
